I'm sure they're just trying to be cute, but that's very, very dumb.
Hah that's hilarious! I imagined that this exact thing would happen, back around the year 2000 or so... hardcore Christians saying heaven-o - and now there's a whole town saying it!
The guys in that town don't realize hello is not even an English word and doesn't refer to hell. (Ironic, isn't it - they all say everyone's going to hell but they're afraid of saying hello).
Oh, now you're just against Xianity for saying that. Next thing you'll know, you'll be disrespecting Xmas.
