Also, if Horner and Scanella cannot support their claim with biomolecular analyses, their methodologies, interpretations, and conclusions regarding physical and ecological examinations of the two taxa could have serious flaws. Who knows, biomolecular analyses could show that Triceratops may have significantly different DNA (1% genome difference is enough to separate 2 genera)or polypeptide chain sequence than Torosaurus.Hikaruhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12383058280912246368noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38902250.post-75623570075622448882010-09-02T21:11:57.808-07:002010-09-02T21:11:57.808-07:00Also, I've often wondered how Stegosaurus mate...Also, I've often wondered how Stegosaurus mated, what with all those pointy plates and all. Perhaps that explains why it's tail was so flexible.

But what about ankylosaurs? I would imagine stiff-tailed forms like Euoplocephalus would have a hard time maneuvering their weaponry while attempting to mount.TriPARROTopsnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38902250.post-27559208947653683192010-09-02T10:47:20.611-07:002010-09-02T10:47:20.611-07:00Sorry to change the subject, but I'd like to k...Sorry to change the subject, but I'd like to know your opinion of this website:

http://tyra-rex.com/Dinosaur/DP.html

There are a number of essays with some insights on dino-related subjects. Your previous post was especially clear in bring out some of these issues.

One minor thing: please correct the spelling of histology. The Hornerians could take you to task for that :-). In another life you would have certainly made a good professional paleontologist who draws well.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
